I'm excited to announce our first annual vegan chili cook off at Go Vegan Cafe Saturday, March 16 from 4 to 6 pm.

We will have vegan celebrity judges Diana Edelman, Jackie Sobon who is the author of the Vegan Yak Attack cookbook, and Chef Mayra with more to come. The winner will be awarded "Best Vegan Chili in Vegas 2019" plaque. There will also be a "People's Choice" award.

How it works:

To be a contestant the entry fee is $10. Go to tickets (above) to buy a ticket and registration (above) to sign up. Sign up quickly as room is limited to 20 contestants. Then, just bring your best chili in a large crock pot with a ladle to serve, and we will do the rest!

Tasting tickets are $5 and can be paid upon arrival. Children under 12 are free.

This is a benefit for Lofty Hopes Pigeon Rescue and Pet Food Not Bombs pet pantry. We are also having a pet food and pet supplies drive. No need to wait for the event to donate, there is always a donation box on the back patio of Go Vegan Cafe for your convenience.
